Now in the FREE Resource Library
Save ink and paper pages 2 to 4 are the Earth Day activities the other pages include contact information, a necessary credit page and a little bit of marketing this includes hopefully helpful related Earth Day activities available in my store.
I am also sharing a lesson idea of how I would use both activities in my class.

I will use these during our morning writing session.
First: During writing time as a whole class we will brainstorm “Things I can do to keep Earth happy” I will emphasize simple achievable everyday activities (enlarge the brainstorm sheet or glue it onto a bigger sheet a b/w version is also included )
Then: I will model in my teacher writing book 1 or 2 ways “I can keep Earth happy” eg. walk to school, use my coffee cup at cafes
Meanwhile: Students will decorate their crowns whilst we rotate through writing groups.
Finally: Back on the mat wearing our crowns students will tell a friend about
“Things I can do to keep the Earth happy”
